Ticket to Ride is pretty good...has a very simple concept, but quite a bit of strategy is needed.
The problem I have with that game is that I sometimes play it with people that have all the routes memorized, so they know exactly what you are going for or whatever.
There is also a Steam version of Ticket to Ride which I prefer playing with my wife because I don't have to deal with all those little plastic trains and then scoring.
