obviously i was biased by the desire to like a game I had anticipated. I still hope it can be saved by mods, but honestly I would say this game is a 2/5 at best in its current state.
The dialogue is awful, the storyline is insulting at best, there are no recognizable role playing elements. I HATE the main character. I am trying to finish it but it is painful to get through, I've probably played 5 hours total since 2-3 days after it came out.
Insulting is definitely the right word. I hope mods will come out that erase the entire main quest completely. And go back to a voiceless protagonist w/ NV dialogue style.
It reminds me actually of how even Fallout 3 wasn't that good. It was New Vegas that was good and I only recently learned that it was made by Obsidian so that probably explains why it got so many things right that Fallout 4 totally fucks up.
