The curved screens have a more immersive view which may be a bit closer to simulating reality. I'd like one, but I won't be buying anything until my current screens die.
Four 24" pc mons, three laptop screens and two 65" tv all at 1080p.
That probably won't be until 8K starts to hit the market.
