Can't really compare it though Mael... being scared and wanting to protect your family from a real imminent threat, one that is responsible for destroying your home, killing several family members and destroying your country... that's one thing, but being afraid of a threat that is completely subjective is another.
So many North Americans are just scared of everything - if we lived in a world like the one Syrian refugees live in today, we wouldn't give a fuck because there is despair all over and some government approved, vetted refugees wouldn't seem all that bad - even if there is a chance that a few of them could be bad, especially when the bad guys have several other, easier ways to get into this country or yours.
