Have you played on survival yet?
It is HILARIOUS they removed the eating/drinking. Makes no fucking sense to me. I pickup lead belly perk on my first level up with this character and I'm instantly regretting it, plenty of stimpacks and food around for me to stay healthy and no real need to drink copious amounts of water.
