I too was upset, but did not cry. I read the news often enough to see that stuff like this happens fairly regularly in other parts of the world - in April 147 (mostly students) were killed by terrorists. I didn't see any "Pray for Kenya" posts or statuses... that's what doesn't make sense to me. https://www.google.ca/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0CCIQFjAAahUKEwiI7NHK_JLJAhVBVIgKHa6sDQ0&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.bbc.com%2Fnews%2Fworld-africa-32169080&usg=AFQjCNErqDdHUnxQxJ8Juv5Gyzomq24nFw&bvm=bv.107467506,d.cGU I'm not trying to take away anything from what happened in Paris. It's despicable and it angers and frustrates to no end - but it's the world that's in trouble, not just where white people live. |
