no, we're not both 'technically' correct. That's like saying one of the definitions of the word "Jew" is "to cheat someone", just because it has been used that way and accepted by some individuals in the past (and presumably, present).
Obviously that would immediately reveal that someone is importing additional opinions about the subject (jewish people) and attempting to incorporate them into the definition would be seen as a straightforward corruption of language.
If you don't want to be called a waste of time, don't try and use those kinds of corruptions in an argument.
