While I completely understand everyone's hatred for the Yankees. Lots of obnoxious fans, they "buy championships", they've won a considerable amount, etc., I don't get people's hatred for the Mets. They've never been good, they don't buy teams, their fans may still be obnoxious but that's just the way it is in NY. So what's the deal? Is it just a hatred for the state in general?
