if you mean the early days of eve going from beta to live then i can agree with you on jump gates being broken
because you can literally crash people on the jumpgates by bringing a bunch of your friends and ships like dominix with multiple drones, to cause players loading at jumpgates to crash to desktop
this tactic i mentioned above i admit was broken
