I max leveled and acquired all weapons I was interested in without ever having to pay real money... It takes a bit of grinding and IIRC I think I did a bulk of it with my engineer by repairing turrets in areas no one was fighting in.... also going around and back hacking shit. All the cert points add up quicker then you think.
