| Subject: | Nvidia vs. Radeon... | |
I bought a GeForce2 back when they were the best thing going. I may go out and get a Radeon the next time I need/want a new vidcard (The Radeon Linux drivers are also 100% Open Sourced as well, for the purists out there.) (shrug) - it's sixes either way IMO - ATI and nvidia both have a solid track record, and I have owned lots of cards from both companies. In most business applications, ATI rules, because their Rage 128 gives the most bang for the buck (don't need 3D accel. in a business environment.) At home, I'll get whatever shows the best balance of money vs. value. Let me put it this way: You get the card that best fits your wants and your needs. /P |
