hmm, maybe, I always see the gf3 optimized version being used though, maybe they stopped for the R8500..
it beats the GF3 in 3dmark2001 too though, pretty handily.
and ATI cards have almost _always_ been the best as far as visual quality went, except for that little Q3 thing.
They've always had better visuals with the same settings.
