For FPS, it does. However, try playing an RPG, RTS, Racing Game, etc. Its overly apparent that they do nothing more than aggressively attack/optimize for the FPS world, and it is utterly dishonest and disgusting. They dont make real video cards or drivers. I cant believe people buy into their bullshit. Even look at the Radeon 8500 benchmarks. Why the hell does the Radeon score so poorly on the game Giants? There is no consistency in their drivers or game support. What about when new games come out? Its like a crapshoot as to whether or not you will get the performance you expect out of your Radeon card. I'm sorry... they cheat, and they lie, and they try to get by with tricks and hacks. Finally, their FSAA is the worst implimentation ever. I still think the V5 has the best and most flawless FSAA (with Nvidia a close second). :RR: Tonester |
