IMO, its just hockey fans getting rambunctious. I don't take it seriously. Its crass and tacky only because Canada is smarting over the deaths of those soldiers killed in friendly fire. If that hadn't happened, this wouldn't be such a controversy. What would have been seen as friendly shit talking over sports is now seen as a real insult. Think how much better it would have been to have a moment of silence in tribute instead.
