The below map is basically the area covered by the no-build zone around spawn.
I almost have the main road finished (I will finish the western road tonight). The cobble count was right around 8,000, and the gravel 5,760. Thanks to Chombo (31 effing stacks of gravel) and S3 (5 stacks!) donating around 2,300 gravel I have been able to gravel out the entire north and east runs, and 99% of the south run. I still have to finish the west run dig+cobble, and probably 90% of that gravel (roughly 1,000 gravel still needed if you have any laying around).
I will be moving on to the roads between the House/Manor areas, as well as a few others. I am good on cobble, and I won't be gravelling non-rail paths, so after the west rail bed is done, that should be it for gravel. I am all set on cobble.
Once the roads are all pretty much done (I may leave estate roads 100% up to the owners since the areas are so large), I will be putting up walls around the entire city, as well as walls between the house/manor/estate boundaries (so the peasants can't just wander in to hobnob with nobility.)
SO HERE BE THE ROUGH OUTLINE (Key below):
White: Public areas - Currently the workshop/staging area, spawn itself, the spawn rune waypoint, and spawn nether portal (I have been attempting to build a tower around the portal but it's a ghast warzone down there. Infernal delivered some munitions, so I will go regulate and you should be able to see the tower easily enough - should be a quick way to spawn from anywhere nearby) Future buildings will include the Census Bureau (newb info, rules, etc) and other various crap.
Black: My shit. (Server admins, I dunno) Someday. Maybe. If not, more public ground.
Red: Guild Houses/Embassies - For groups of players that want their own central proof-of-epeen structure. Plots will be the most expensive on a land:cost ratio. But your epeen cares not about such things. (Because of the close proximity, these buildings will most likely be built out to the specified dimensions and then I will magicianicate them from their build spot to the guild house area.
Orange: Docks/Airfield/Aerodrome/etc - This will be the Voxel Port Hub that will connect to other cities/outposts as well as to any players that want to buy a voxel connection from the capitol to their own shite.
Player owned properties (Only the owner(s) will be able to place or destroy blocks in these areas. With pstones, this is going to be a bit of a pain in the ass, but I will get it figured out.)
Plots are first-come first-pwn basis, no reservations (and no disintegrations)
Blue: Estates - the largest class of player-owned/purchased plots in the capitol. These are going to be between 80-120meters by 80-120 meters. I will get each one lined out and priced based on location and awesomeness of terrain. All estates will get 4 Glow of Life stones place wherever the owner(s) want(s) it (It's a glowstone block that heals anyone in its radius over time - there is one right at spawn too). Estates will also get either an Air of Atlantis (allows water breathing) or a Sky Cannon (Or launchpad) Stone (SC shoots players up, Launch shoots forward), one Shocker (nails whoever touches it with lightning) and up to 4 Jack'o Death (Opposite of glow of life, damages anyone close to it over time) with the purchase of the land. I will have to individually place these where you want them, and their location is permanent.
Estates will be expensive enough that only hardcore players or groups/guilds/clans/whatever will be able to afford them.
Manors: These are the medium-sized plots. They will be somewhere between 32-64 x 32-64 depending, and priced, as with the estates, based on location and size. Manors will come with one free Glow of Life stone - again, wherever the owner(s) want. I think there will be public roads (i.e., not modifiable) between them, but with ample room to build your own walk/wall/etc up to the road. If this sounds like a bad idea, let me know and we'll figure something else out.
Manors will be expensive, but definitely within reach of individuals.
Houses: These are the smallest plots of land, and will be fairly uniform in size. Most likely they will be roughly arranged on a uniform grid, and there will be public roads between them. These won't be cheap, per se, but should be ready to go and inexpensive enough for people to start buying them this weekend (I hope).
