IMHO, if we're going to start fresh with a new map, I'd rather wait until bukkit is ready for use and has some key addons to foster more of a community, like iConomy, towny & minecart mania.
For now I'm content playing with the alpha and screwing around with that until such a time as bukkit & key addons are available.
