Subject: PiCECRAFT - Meeting Minutes

The high council convened this weekend, and I wanted to extend the privilege of the results with the rank and file peasantry (i.e., you).

1. Do not mess with spawn. Do not cut sod chunks (and thereby make pitfall deathtraps for newbs), do not thieve goods from the portal nexus, do not plant or cut trees, etc. The area immediately around spawn can be modified (with good reason)

Examples:

- Community chest (Yes, putting trash in it is funny, please knock it off) - also, a few people are keeping it stocked... most of us have TONS of stuff... new people (especially players that are moving from a server where they have stuff) greatly appreciate the leg up to get started, or recover from the inevitable lava bath.

Items needed here are low end (not trash wood) tools and armor especially. Even leather armor is better than nothing. If you move up to diamond, drop your iron stuff here, etc. Wood is always good.

- Free for all chests - knock yourselves out. Again, not a place to dump your excess gravel.

- Food chests - This is for newbs, not you stoners out strolling at night. A few of us have been trying to keep this stocked, but it is disappearing at a rate that seems a bit high for the number of people who actually need it.

- Spawn sand wall + cactus maze: This is up to prevent the undead horde from entering the newb zone. The beach area is crawling at night, the wall channels them into the cactus. Obviously, anyone new leaving that way should learn pretty quickly that cacti hurt.

- Infinite water supply - there is a trough near the cactus field with a sign so people can fill buckets (It can be redone the better 4x4 way if someone gets a wild hair up their ass.

2. Personal property (Obviously, if you know the person, and you have permission to be up in their shit, adjust the following accordingly)

If something looks like a player made it, then a player made it. Unless someone has a portal on the central network, or has invited you into their stake, stay out of it. If someone has a private network, again, unless they invite you to use it, leave it alone.

If you open a door, close it. This is apparently a real brain buster. If you find a door that has no obvious button/switch it is probably that way for a reason. Unless you know the person, just move on.

If you tunnel into something that belongs to someone else, seal up the hole you made, and choose a different path. If you bust through stone and only have cobblestone, at least let the person know what happened.

Obviously mining networks are going to meet nearby neighbors, but check around as to who lives near you before you go crack addled pyscho mole. If you DO connect to a mine belonging to another person, at least put a door up to both delineate and to block mobs from flooding their side (or your side).

There are limitless places to put your shit, branch out a bit and you won't be stepping on someone else's wheat field.

Injate has asked that all "houses" or any other non-temporary structures be marked with a sign, so he knows who they belong to.
