One of our groups was looking at a Wireless VGA extender which operates within the 2.4Ghz spectrum. Although this device is capable of operating on one of 4 different channels I have concerns that it's going to interfere with our 802.11a/b/g wifi. We already have 4 AP's on our floor which are spaced out to avoid the frequency overlap within the channels.
I was thinking I would be able to find a VGA Extender which uses Ultra Wide Band but all I've been able to find is HDMI over UWB. In my searching it also seems as though UWB is on its way out as a technology overall.
Does anyone have any experience with the 802.11 VGA extenders and have you seen interference issues with your wireless?
