yar don't get me wrong that is very good speed with an INSANE amount of capacity.

I've gotten to the mindset that i can settle with something (AT MOST) in the 128 gigabyte range. I need my OS, my common apps, and maybe a couple games (just whatever is hooking me at that time).

I've read SSD are cellular based (wtf really), so I hear 2 sides of arguments based off their longevity. The pro being that the mechanical parts operating them are next to nil. No cylinder mechanics. But...flip side i've heard they are cellular based, and longevity for rewrites degrades the performance as cells are more susceptible to entropy.

Key word being more. I'm torn.

SAS takes a pretty spendy adapter, or I can get great speeds/capacity/warranty with a velociraptor, or these new over priced SSD's.

Granted I feel I should mention I have an external HD. This to be exact. Storage space isn't a problem, need my os to boot faster, photoshop and a few games would be a great plus.
