I have a rtsp stream for our council meetings. Works fine, but we don't have enough bandwidth to stream it to everyone.
So there are hosted services out there that will take your stream and host it for you, like a proxy. Only problem is these hosts usually want a certain video and audio codec sent to them. The hardware we use for streaming is pretty basic and I can't change it there, so I have to use another thirdparty to encode it to what I need, before sending it off to these providers...
Pain in the ass.
