And there's no reason to abandon Q3's base, and fix what was taken from q2 and half-assed implemented.

It's got the best netcode without the crap from feedback from clients.

If I can run a WFA server on a Pentium pro200 with all the optimizations and not have "ent creep" or memory issues with extended runtimes and map shifts, then it's golden.

Some dude got his masters on dissection of the q3 mod source. It was some spanish guy and I have his paper, somewhere.

THAT'S the type of guy I am looking for.
