We could just "use" him for the playoffs. I mean it's not a matter of life or death to have him banned. So we have an asshole on the team, it's not really that big a deal. I've been an asshole on pice for a long time, but they still haven't banned me :P
Did any of the other GM's state their opinion? If they didn't it seems, they don't think it's that big a deal?
