the first game was gonna be a wash. couldnt be any other way until people learned the rules. i offered, many times, to explain movement and said anyone could ask me directly if a move was allowed (using fake units/positions)
i havent lied to anyone in either game yet and frankly there's no reason to until everyone knows how to play (and even then you needn't lie). i worked diplomatically from the beginning of the game with every country that would talk to me and i wasn't untruthful with any of them. i may not have said 'i am moving here, here, and here' but i certainly didnt say i was going to do something and then not follow through.
if anyone wants, i'll start a game and everyone can say what they're going to do from the get go and everyone can learn movement rules and support rules that way.
austria is deffinately a hard starting country, but it's unlikely you'll get it every game.
