The only reason we never went to epic sized maps and gameplay was because that isn't WF style.

WF had enhanced movement based on a player's class. grapple, jetpack, wallwalking, assassin uncloaked speed.

epic maps require tooooo much travel time and bore people unless they have vehicles

and vehicles undo all the goodness of the custom movement enhancements that are part of the definition of WF gameplay.

This is why ut2k4 had some appear to me when WFA died. everyone had same movement, but the vehicles and combos of people created the enhancements to the gameplay. onslaught and assault imho are GREAT gameplay styles.
