Mael, don't use an elf gaurdian (or tell your friend to reroll). You need to consider the high level race skills. Take a look at the level 35 skills: Elf: 75.0% chance to parry for a 10 seconds, 1hr cooldown vs Man: Strength of Morale - 3000+ (to 5000?) morale regained in an instant. At level 39 I just barely have reached 3000 HP with bonuses. And the other one is: Elf: +2.0% bow damage (gaurdian does get bow but rarely uses for anything but pulling) vs Man: Duty-bound - Gives a morale bonus (regain or max, not sure) to fellowship. http://lotro-wiki.com/index.php/Race#Racial_Accomplishments_2 I think that 1 hour cool down 75% parry skill for 10 seconds is SUCH a POS, especially for a guardian. Want to know another guardian specific skill your low level guardian might already have? 50% parry and 50% block for something like 10 seconds with a 4 second cool down. It saves your ass and provides good response attacks. I would much rather have a 2/3 to full heal skill than that parry for 10 seconds bullshit. I can inflict much more DPS with 3000+ morale than I can with 10 seconds of parrying. |
