meh? why not just make gunners harder to push.. I wish ramps were implemented better, they are rediculous asis (jumping, being pushed on) =[

you really should be able to do something less absolute with gunner being pushed... give her inertia type qualities based on the spinup, so that she had enough to not budge while just firing, and if she got pushed while firing, it would have a reduced effect, particularly in the upward direction

wfa was always too frustrating in the solidity of positions, nothing on the offence except 25+ second plasma runs could consistently alter the placement of the defense...

lack of push vs gunners, (aside from the cheesy effect of it preventing firing) was largely responsible for the broken deathmatch mechanics of o vs d. marines could deal with anybody else, by causing their enemy to correct their aim if they were hit by the marine (mostly ditto for the other o classes for that matter, borg mortar, nurse ssg) ... but as gunner you could always just draw that perfect bead, hold down trigger, and wait for them to die.
