i got my radeon from my brother and have had no problems with it. he even took the demo model of gf3 out of his work pc and put the radeon back. he has had alot less problems with it.
and as far as the shit about doom and quake4, my radeon (which is a demo model for id software) runs the betas just fine and its almost a year old now.
people talk about how ati has drivers problems and shit, but i seem to remember nvidia releasing detonators every few weeks before i lost my net for a few weeks
