In the example above, each of those Major Skills--Marksman, Sneak, and Security--is governed by the Agility attribute. Therefore, when you sleep to level up, you will see a 5x multiplier for your Agility attribute. Since each skill increase adds 0.5 to the multiplier, it breaks down as follows:
3 Marksman levels = 3 * 0.5 = 1.5x Multiplier
4 Sneak levels = 4 * 0.5 = 2x Multiplier
3 Security = 1.5x Multiplier
1.5 + 2 + 1.5 = 5x Multiplier toward Agility
BUT MOST IMPORTANT: If you want your Minor Skill increases to count toward the multipliers for that level, you MUST, MUST, MUST level up your Minor Skills BEFORE you make a total of 10 Major Skill increases. The reason for this is that once you've increased your 10 Majors, the multipliers for your next character level become locked into place. Any further Major or Minor skill increases contribute their Multipliers to the character level after the one you were just working on.
