Nope, i would say: Wow its a good thing i had enough foresight to pay for that health insurance so i dont have to pay that 200k and im glad i dont live in canada because its was soooo much cheaper than haveing to pay an additonal 20% of my income every year.
Is the US system perfect? No where near it, i dont think that greedy insurance companies should be allowed to deny patients treatement their doctors say are nessecary and i dont think they should be able to single out individuals for rate increases or dropping them at a whim because they are going to have to dish out some serious money. But companies that do shit like that are the exception not the norm.
Do i think privateized health care is supperior to government owned health care? Hell yes, Govt programs are huge cash sinkholes, 1 dollar in gets far less out than that 1 dollar put into a private insurance company.
