Polyphenols do exist but one has to have the proper analytical tools to detect them dependent on the matrix in which they are to be detected. This particular study was ill advised from the onset in my opinion due to the basic tenants of the proposal presented. Someone should have known better that to fund such an ill prepared and equipped study.
