I don't mind the idea of no grapple sling. By grapple sling, I assume you mean 'super grappling'. I think the speed of the WFA grapple without super grappling would be perfect (even though I am a huge fan of super grappling). As far as the wrap-around effect you are talking about, unless the the grapple will work more like Bionic Commando/Spider Man I don't see how this would work. (Of course if 'affected by gravity' means 'works like spider man' then I understand.)
