OD has a good point... when you choose to continue the legacy of an established franchise you generally get all of the old players but it comes with a price. There are certain expectations and assumptions that go along with an establish franchise. You can change those and a lot of people will even say you SHOULD change them to keep the ideas fresh BUT there needs to be a reasonable level of continuity between previous versions and the current version... and WFR is very much a Weapons Factory game... it has some plenty of innovation in it but those who played WF in the past will be comfortable immediately with the new design. Comfortable but with a lot of new things to play with. :)
