Subject: Klonax - 2 things

First, I don't see when the grapple in WFA was ever unbalanced (assuming that having an unbalanced grapple is even possible). WFA's grapple is not the fastest grapple I've seen in the Q3A mods at all. You want to see a turbo grapple? Go check out Alliance's grapple. That grapple is just sick. Their have been only 2 highly visible changes to the game as far as balancing offense and defense. First was the removing of the mega chaingun's secondary fire. This really had nothing to do with grapple speed. It had more to do with the gunner being a better sniper than the sniper. The other is shifting the focus of engineer from cell-farming to proactive patrolling. This also had very little do with the grapple. It had much more to do with shifting the engineer from a skilless class to a skillful class.

The second point that is incorrect is the origin of WFA's grapple. WFA's grapple is not the grapple found in Vanilla Q3A. The default Q3A is used much more just to get to high-up places than for lateral movement. The WFA dev has all ready had the ability to create their own grapple and that grapple is the WFA grapple.
