It's not about mastering the game in 2 days, it's about being quickly able to feel at home & operational, which instantly creates an interest for the game.
If you spend your first games trying to find out what the hell is happening & searching for what to do, you're not gonna be immersed in the action and you'll be loosing interest quite fast.
