Sol brought up a great point. Each class has a ton of weapons. Pretty much every class could easily be brought down to three weapons for the sake of ease-of-use.
Recon - Flash, Goodyear, Uzi. Just make the Flash grenade able to destroy all static defenses - lasers, mines, sentries, decoys, etc.
Nurse - Plague Gun, SSG, Plague Grenade. Again make the plague grenade able to destroy all static defenses.
Engineer - SSG, Ion Fuser, Emp Grenade.
Marine - Rocket Launcher, Hyperblaster, Proximity Mines.
Cyborg - Sentry Killers, Lightning Gun, Mortar.
Arsonist - Freeze Gun, Flamethrower, Grenades.
Gunner - Mega Chaingun, Flack Gun, Shraps.
Sniper - Sniper Rifle, Rail Gun, Pipe bombs.
Spy - Knife, Pistol, Flash Grenades.
