they cheat on the sp and especially the dm levels. lights wink out when noone's around, that means video card isn't dealing with areas.
sorta a weird deal instead of vis. try walking around with tris or normals.
it does have tons of built-in editors that are all broken, but after all its a sp console game, not a dev/mod engine.
