i dunno probably was worth about 10 grand in it's day when all was said and done, it'd cost the same to get a new one comparable and all the software. but mine is old, definitely not portable, and very cumbersome to set up initially. the one in that link was used with liquid nitrogen to cool the sensor array, mine has a mini supercooler so it was the more "expensive" model back in the early 90's.

newer ones are really light and "warm up" in about 1 minute, mine takes about 10 minutes for the supercooler to kick in. it also needs 2 tripods, one for cam, one for the telescopes, and a decent heavy amp 12v feed. cause of all the military use newer chips are cheaper, newer sensors are smaller and aren't as dear.

and repo work isn't all that great.


And on the other hand, without a gun they can't get none
