Subject: sql server + excel

We're upgrading from sql 6.5 to sql2000 in the next few months, and a nice way for me to get a bonus would be finding some way to automate a bit of our monthly production. Does anyone know if there's a way to have sql stored procedures output directly to excel files, rather than having to deal with flat files that are then macro'd into excel workbooks? I've got ~40 some tabs per workbook for 400+ customers, depending on what kind of data comes through for that particular customer. It would be nice to remove the somewhat buggy, and definitely time consuming step of having to run macros to generate the reports each month.

SO. sql2excel or something? does it exist?
