yea i couldn't get a decent makefile out of automake.
but I did find SO much that was wrong that visual studio never saw: redefined symbols, a few missing edicts in a few header defnitions (unused, all of it, no broken code just code that was leftover and sloppy) and no newline at end of file, what a pain in the ass.
theres one warning i can't get rid of because i don't understand the warning, (result will always return false because of somethingorother).
I spent all last night cleaning up CVS for the push to sourceforge. Right now it's been on my development server for a while, but it only is accessable with ssh/sspi which is a pain in the ass, but tarball's work fine.
Thanks guys, I'll see what's different. It will compile without the ifdef on the asm, so I know it's working. I don't have a nix box to actually test the client, but I did put in a dedicated-server only build (ala q3ded) so anyone on nix can have fun with the client later on.
