my nix box is way down.
friggin looks like a project weekend. now i gotta do a distro.
any ideas for a nice console distro? dont want to bother with ANYTHING but a 3com509 nic, s3 chip, intel everything. I have this netmax iso. my nix box is so pieced together out of spare parts the 8x cdrom takes jewelcases for it. like old plextors. my 24x ide that was in it broke.
i got books, its just been so long since i compiled anything on nix that dealt with network/communications stuff, winsock equiv.
