i just ramble.
it helps. seriously, its basically like if you can work on it, know how to work on it, you are free to work on it.
you can edit all maps without editing them. you can change ents around, weapon damage/speed/ammo requriements/skins/abilities/whatever you want.
i mean why not, right? if its stock, it shows up as stock. if its modified, it shows up as MOCK in the browser.
simple enough.
