trust me, this stuff is easy compared to the other crap i had to do.
i'm sorta sitting back at this point running over code in my head. all weapons/effects are done.

i really need help now. i can release, i am confident, but the makefile (below) needs to be done and I am starting to burn out. I spent 3 hours on borked code yesterday with a problem that wound up being a bad float-to-int conversion that I glossed over.
