yea there's a 5 second delay built in because of player animation checks (your body can take as long as 3 seconds to finish dying), and you have to wait for the respawn protection to die out (or press fire and the respawnpro dissapears). if you keep on killing yourself quickly the code that does the rapid team switching kicks in and holds an additional 5 seconds.

thats the way its coded, i just added effects. i was thinking about forcing a respawn, but figured i'd just black the screen instead.
