get a good fan, i did. I also had heatsinks from mosfets out of an old tv i found on the side of the road (took a hammer, pried off back, took pliers and pop pop pop) and stuck those on my vram.
dunno, was stable. overclocked it to max to test, but kept it normal and it lasted and lasted...
