I dunno how fast peeps could level in EQ
I went from 12 1/2 to 16 yesterday in FFXI, you just need a good group that isn't full of morons, our LinkShell has smart people so we are ok :P
Tho we did let this one warrior guy in, he kept getting us into shit, charging ahead of the group and getting aggrod so we just kept letting him die but he didn't get the hint to stay with the rest of us :/
