Yep, I've done vid card swap before.
Not on Linux though. But I'd put a new vid card in my main games system anyway, which currently is Win2k. And has an AGP 4x slot.
Gainward prices on eBay vary a lot, but looks like they like to go 'way up. clicky
I think I'll just hold off for now anyway, it's not that important. Much as I'd like to upgrade.
