The particles looked great I could not see what you were talking about. I had problems with a jittering effect in WMP9 but BSplayer ran the movie smooth.
The respawn particles looked good but kind of dull imo. Maybe you could add a few faster, brighter, particles that shoot allmost straight up in the air to give some speed and life to the effect?
