oh and because I have no modeler I used allot of 'placeholder' models. like the gas grenade is actually a regular sphere with the frozen shader, the laser cutter is actually 2 wfa pipebombs as a cross, and there are a crapload of issues that need to be addressed with the maps because all the wfa maps we had pre 3.5 are made so inconsistantly that it's not funny.

just not using a surfaceparm sky on a sky, even tho id shaders had it, some version of radiant had some shaders that said 'sky' is legacy and not needed, but it is, so that gave me a headache learning how to do traces through things.

was kinda easy tho once I got the hang of it.
