Damn quotes in links =[ First off, let me say that overall this is a pretty nice map. IMO, my suggestions would change the "pretty nice" into a "great", but thats only my opinion, so take it as you will. Ok down to business. First off, be sure to go through and clip everything that needs it, such as doorframes, picture frames(lots of these), and the cross things in the FR's. Also there are quite a few missalinged textures in the red base, that got skewed due to the mirroring. Right now the visor statue is unclipped as well. Notice in this screenshot how the red light from the lava and the blue from around the flag clash. I would consider making the lava blue in the blue base becuase 1.) it makes the bases more distinctive and 2.) its clashes a lot less. Also the blue and red lights around the flag seem a little pastel (gay). try using the actual color of the texture of the light for the light color. In this second screenshot , i suggest making another of those blue thingys, instead of the pink banner, just to even things out. Try makeing a red version of this shader for the red base. Use real jumppads instead of the pentagrams showm heret . If you need them, I made jumpads on black backgrounds so you can put them on any floor you want very easily, to make things seem more smooth and seamless. Find some better graphics for these picture frames. You might even try real medieval paintings or something; the ones there now don't really fit into the theme very well. Finally, you need to caulk all the sides of your glass, otherwise you'll get z-fighting as shown here. Ok that is all for now =] |
