Yeah... it'll be nice working with Quake 4/Doom 3 if they go back to a dll based distribution which I believe they said they would. That allows us to do all kinds of cool stuff (similar to what rocket arena did with their mp3 player and irc client.) I suppose we could have done it with WFA too but at the time it seemed a good idea to stay with the qvm distributions that most others were using to keep it more secure. Bah. Only problem with DLLs is finding a trustworthy mac programmer who can port the code to a set of MAC dlls. Linux is easier to find these days than mac people
